Shanghai gold futures contract 2608 rallied intraday, gains widening to 1.02% at 914.68 yuan/gram. Turnover was about 59.93 bln yuan. Open interest rose by nearly 1,800 contracts intraday, with volume and open-interest activity climbing in tandem.
