Adviser to Iran's supreme leader Rezai said the US is seeking to have its warships transit the Strait of Hormuz.

China's National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) will publish two outputs at the 2026 World Artificial Intelligence Conference in Shanghai (July 17-20), the agency said at a July 7 press briefing. The releases are: a third annual case collection China Smart·Benefit World, compiling Chinese AI+ projects and practices across more than 20 countries in agriculture, industry, energy and research; and an Artificial Intelligence Cooperation Development Action Plan covering eight areas—including broader access to computing capacity, open-source ecosystem sharing, AI-enabled applications and security-governance cooperation—aimed at strengthening international communication on technology innovation, industrial application and safety governance.
