The Shanghai municipal government issued its 15th Five-Year Plan for advancing comprehensive rural revitalization, prioritizing measures likely to affect agricultural supply, infrastructure and agri-tech investment. The plan directs upgrades to farmland infrastructure at farms outside Shanghai, supports smart/automated upgrades at out-of-province pig, dairy and layer operations, and promotes development of the modern seed industry, digital agriculture and green agriculture.
