ChiNext Index pulled back in the afternoon, down more than 0.5% after earlier gains of over 1%; Shenzhen Composite Index fell 0.8% and Shanghai Composite Index fell 0.07%.

Shanghai and Shenzhen turnover totaled CNY 2.56 trillion on July 8, down CNY 17.63 billion from the previous session. Shanghai turnover was CNY 1.19 trillion (previous CNY 1.196 trillion), trading volume 496 mln lots (prev 514 mln). Shenzhen turnover was CNY 1.37 trillion (previous CNY 1.385 trillion), trading volume 655 mln lots (prev 678 mln). Zhongji Xuchuang ranked first by turnover at CNY 36.32 billion, followed by Zhaoyi Innovation CNY 35.49 billion, BOE Technology A CNY 25.35 billion, Xinyisheng CNY 23.03 billion and Dongshan Precision CNY 22.80 billion.
