Iran's foreign ministry said the US flagrantly breached an interim ceasefire by striking multiple monitoring and surveillance centres on Iran's southern coast, revoking a US Treasury licence for Iranian oil sales last night, and violating Iran's arrangements in the Strait of Hormuz. It said repeated illegal attacks on Iran, together with Israeli military action in Lebanon, are nullifying the ceasefire and warned the US bears responsibility for the dangerous escalation. The ministry urged all states, especially Gulf littoral neighbours, to prevent their territory or facilities being used to attack Iran, warned that assisting such attacks would constitute complicity, and said Iran's armed forces will defend its territorial integrity, sovereignty and security and repel aggression.
