The NBS said food, tobacco, alcohol and dining-out prices fell 0.3% MoM in June,
subtracting about 0.08 ppt from CPI. Food: fresh fruit -2.0% (‑0.04 ppt), fresh
vegetables -1.0% (‑0.02 ppt), meat -0.5% (‑0.02 ppt) with pork -0.8%, eggs +5.8%
(+0.03 ppt). Of seven other major categories, one rose, two were unchanged and
four fell: health care +0.2%; housing and education/culture & recreation flat;
other goods & services -2.7%; transport & communications -1.3%; household goods
& services -0.2%; clothing -0.1%.
