Iran denied media reports that it would hold a new round of talks with the United States next week. A source close to Iran’s negotiating team said claims that preparations in Islamabad are complete and that technical-level talks would continue next week are untrue and have no factual basis. The source added Tehran will announce any changes to the US-Iran negotiation process only via official channels and that foreign media reports are not reliable.

Hong Kong-listed robotics-related stocks mostly rose; Estun (027154.HK) jumped over 6%, while Alibaba (09988.HK), SenseTime (00020.HK), SMIC (00981.HK) and Horizon Robotics (09660.HK) each rose more than 4%.
