U.S. President Trump, discussing the hypothetical of being successfully assassinated by Iran, said he hoped people would miss him.

OpenAI said it will stop development of its AI browser Atlas on Aug. 9 and will fold some Atlas features into the ChatGPT desktop app and a Chrome extension. The decision comes less than a year after OpenAI launched ChatGPT Atlas in Oct. 2025 and abandons its plan to offer a standalone AI browser to challenge Chrome; competitors including Perplexity (Comet) and The Browser Company (Dia) continue pursuing AI browser products.
