WTI crude rose above $75.00/barrel, up 5.01% intraday. Brent crude gained 5.00% to $79.74/barrel.

France will summon Russia's ambassador in the coming days to discuss large-scale cyber attacks and espionage across several European countries, Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot said. Barrot said French authorities are preparing to impose sanctions on nine individuals and four entities held responsible. He said the operation was orchestrated by Russia's Federal Security Service (FSB) and targeted government departments, companies and infrastructure.
