On the evening of the 13th, Houthi military spokesman Yahya said the group
struck Saudi Arabia’s Abha International Airport with multiple missiles and
drones in retaliation for a Saudi airstrike earlier on Sanaa International
Airport, and warned all airlines not to overfly Saudi airspace until the
blockade of Sanaa airport is lifted. The Saudi-led coalition said its air
defenses intercepted Houthi-launched ballistic missiles aimed at southern Saudi
Arabia. The Houthis accused Saudi forces of bombing Sanaa airport and vowed
retaliation.
