CHINA'S LI chaired a July 13 meeting with economic experts and business leaders on the current economy and next steps. He said H2 economic work is decisive for full-year targets and a strong start to the 15th Five-Year Plan, urged maintaining strategic focus on high-quality growth, intensifying countercyclical policy measures, fully deploying existing stock policies and pre-researching and reserving incremental policy options to consolidate and extend the economy’s stabilizing momentum.

WALLER said he expects headline inflation to start slowing with this week's data, but attention will remain on core inflation.
