Syria's foreign ministry condemned Iran's attack on two UAE tankers in the Strait of Hormuz.

Chongqing Market Supervision Administration said the proposed acquisition of Wuhan Xinxin Integrated Circuit Co. by Wuhan Guanggu Semiconductor Industry Investment Co. received unconditional approval. Prior filings show Yangtze Memory held about 68.19% of Wuhan Xinxin and singly controlled the company; after the transaction Wuhan Guanggu Semiconductor Industry Investment and its concerted parties will together hold roughly 47.88% and singly control Wuhan Xinxin.

The European Commission on Tuesday approved €659 million (about $751 million) in German state aid to support construction of four semiconductor facilities, saying the projects will bolster EU competitiveness and strategic autonomy in chips. Executive Vice-President Teresa Ribera said the approval of German support for four new projects along the semiconductor value chain shows Europe is turning the EU Chips Act's ambition into concrete action.
