People familiar with the matter said Apple is exploring acquisitions of chip companies to bolster development of server chips for running AI workloads. Over recent months it has held talks with bankers about potential deals and contacted semiconductor startups to gauge willingness to sell. The outreach follows reported performance issues with Apple’s internal AI servers.

China's National Bureau of Statistics says in June 2026, among 70 large and medium-sized cities, month-on-month prices for commodity housing rose in first-tier cities and fell or were flat in second- and third-tier cities; year-on-year declines across first-, second- and third-tier cities continued to narrow. The number of cities reporting MoM increases in new home prices rose from the prior month.
