According to The Information, TSMC (TSM.N) has begun pushing back against ASML's (ASML.O) pricing plan.

Since July, listed hog producers’ H1 2026 profit guidance shows the sector in deep losses as hog prices remain depressed. Farming losses have reduced downstream piglet restocking demand; piglet sales have become loss-making even in the seasonal peak. Self-breeding and self-raising are expected to slowly recover toward profitability in H2, but full-year results are likely to remain in the red.

ASML, the world’s largest maker of semiconductor manufacturing equipment, posted Q2 revenue and net profit above expectations as demand from AI chipmakers offset uncertainty over sales to China. LSEG median estimates showed revenue of €9.33bn for the three months to June 30 (about $10.9bn) versus €8.80bn expected, and net profit of €2.92bn versus €2.62bn expected.
