Hunan Yuneng, a leading lithium iron phosphate (LFP) producer, notified customers on July 15 it will raise prices on its entire LFP product range by 2,000 yuan/ton effective Aug. 1. The company cited sustained rises in core upstream raw-material costs and said current full production and this year’s added capacity cannot satisfy overall order growth.

The National Healthcare Security Administration’s 2025 statistical bulletin shows 259.58 mln people participated in maternity insurance, up 6.59 mln from a year earlier (2.6% YoY). There were 35.74 mln maternity insurance beneficiary cases and maternity insurance fund outlays totaled 139.38 bln yuan. Nationwide medical assistance payments amounted to 79.42 bln yuan; the assistance fund subsidized 76.66 mln people to enroll in basic medical insurance. Assistance funding shifted further toward outpatient and inpatient care, with 199.16 mln outpatient/inpatient assistance cases implemented; average per-case inpatient assistance was 1,273 yuan and outpatient assistance 86 yuan.
