According to Chinese state TV, US forces struck multiple targets in southern and
southeastern Iran, hitting Bandar Abbas port and its rail junction, Iranshahr
airport in Sistan-and-Baluchestan province, and bridges in Hormozgan province.
The strike on Bandar Abbas damaged a communications tower and caused partial
power outages; the port's rail junction was hit, injuring two. US warplanes
launched missile strikes on Iranshahr airport, with residents reporting three
loud explosions. Hormozgan provincial authorities said two bridges — including
at Bandar-e Khamir — were struck, killing two and wounding four.
