At the morning close, China's main futures contracts were mixed. Shanghai silver
and palladium fell nearly 4%, platinum dropped over 3%, and PVC monthly average
price fell about 3%. Soda ash, glass, red dates, caustic soda, cotton and
polysilicon declined more than 2%. On the upside, container-shipping Europe
route and Shanghai lead rose over 2%, lithium carbonate gained nearly 2%, and
LPG, low-sulfur fuel oil (LU) and asphalt were up more than 1%.
