China Meteorological Administration (CMA) formally handed over its MAZU
intelligent early‑warning system, Djibouti 2.0, at the 2026 World Artificial
Intelligence Conference meteorology forum. CMA said the system will be deployed
in Djibouti by year‑end and is intended for replication across cities, ports,
airports, renewable‑energy sites and tourist areas with high weather impact.
Delivered via CMA’s menu-style supply and customized-service platform, the
package offers an observation–forecast–warning integrated solution for
developing countries and supports the UN Early Warnings for All initiative.
