The new-generation Doubao smartphone has reworked cooperation with super apps such as Alibaba and Tencent: it will not read screens, simulate clicks or otherwise operate apps via GUI automation even with user authorization. Doubao will only connect to those apps if the apps themselves provide MCP services, open partial data and permit control. Inventory has risen from about 30,000 units to several hundred thousand units, and Doubao’s assistant team is negotiating with leading app vendors for AI-callable interfaces or service capabilities.
