Refinitiv: German Interior Minister Alexander Dobrindt told a Saturday newspaper
interview that, citing a rise in reports and intelligence, Germany has raised
its security alert from the prior 'abstract threat level' to a 'high threat
level'. He said "this means in Germany we must be constantly vigilant to the
risk of attacks" and added "attack plans targeting our country are clearly
discernible." He cited risks to German infrastructure, individuals and
institutions. The Interior Ministry did not immediately respond to requests for
further details.
