July 18 — Turing Quantum unveiled QAgent at the 2026 World Artificial
Intelligence Conference (WAIC). The company says QAgent is the world’s first
photonic-quantum-based, industry-deployable quantum-classical hybrid agent
platform, exposing large language models and agents as a single scheduling
interface. Built on Turing Quantum’s proprietary photonic quantum computing
stack, QAgent integrates a hybrid quantum-classical compute layer, the
DeepQuantum quantum AI programming framework, a quantum algorithm library and
industry toolkits, and supports an end-to-end workflow from natural-language
input and task decomposition to coordinated quantum-agent invocation, quantum
compute scheduling and result aggregation. Turing positions the product as a
step toward moving quantum computing from frontier research capacity to industry
capability and agent-driven commercial services.
