Kuwait fire service said an Iranian attack sparked multiple fires and injured several firefighters. Crews brought two fires under control this afternoon local time; in one area several firefighters and one oil-sector worker were injured and the site came under attack again during firefighting. Firefighters also extinguished three smaller blazes in residential areas caused by falling shrapnel; those incidents caused no casualties.

Scotiabank expects the ECB to hold rates in July, arguing policy need not move in a straight line during periods of high uncertainty.
