Local media reported on the 18th that Hungary’s president has signed an amendment to the Fundamental Law; the president’s term is ending and parliament will elect a successor within 30 days.

Saudi Arabia's foreign ministry said it "strongly condemns Iran's continuing brutal aggression against Kuwait, Bahrain and Jordan," adding Riyadh fully supports measures those countries have taken in response and that the attacks violate international law and principles of good-neighbourliness. Qatar and Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) secretary-general Jassim Al-Budaiwi had earlier condemned Iran's recent attacks on Gulf neighbours.

Kuwait Oil Company said a key facility was struck repeatedly in attacks by Iranian forces, causing multiple casualties and significant damage. Injured personnel have received medical treatment and the site has been evacuated. KOC is coordinating with authorities. The statement did not identify the facility's location.
