Indonesia's Investment and Downstream Industry Minister Rosan said the
government will continue policies to promote trade and investment and improve
the business environment, expressing confidence in future China-Indonesia
investment cooperation. He highlighted bilateral gains in downstream chemicals,
manufacturing, infrastructure, natural resources and energy transition, and said
China invested about USD 3.9 bln in Indonesia in 1H2026, keeping China among
Indonesia's largest foreign investors. Rosan reiterated the government's
priority of maintaining long-term stability in the comprehensive strategic
partnership and reaffirmed commitments from President Prabowo's China visit to
deepen trade and investment ties.
