The London Stock Exchange will open a new off-hours venue to deliver near-continuous weekday trading. The service, named LSE 24, will operate from 17:00 to 07:50 the following day; client testing is expected to conclude by end-2026. LSE 24 will run separately from the exchange’s main market, which will continue to operate as normal. Exchange-traded products (ETPs) are slated to be the first asset class available, targeted for H1 2027. CEO Julia Hoggett said LSE 24 is intended to give clients greater flexibility and to enhance liquidity and market participation beyond traditional trading hours.
