The Ministry of Water Resources issued the 2026–2035 Overall Plan for Development of Water Remote‑Sensing Satellite Applications, mandating coordinated construction of four major systems — satellite resources, data resources, operational applications, and technology innovation and standards — to expand satellite capacity.
