July 21 — China Re Asset Management said it remains confident in China’s economic transformation and capital-market outlook and favors long-term equity allocations. The firm will strengthen institutional investment capabilities and increase allocations to technology innovation, advanced manufacturing and the digital economy, boosting support for new productive capacity and high-quality real-economy growth. It said it will improve deployment effectiveness of long-term, patient capital to help stabilize capital markets and support the economic upgrade.

IRNA reported Israel's finance minister said Tel Aviv has no intention of joining a US war against Iran. He said Israel does not want to directly intervene and views a US–Iran confrontation without Israeli participation as preferable. IRNA presented the comment as occurring amid Israeli efforts to push Tehran–Washington ties toward confrontation.
