S&P 500 and Nasdaq-100 futures rose on Tuesday as a rebound in core AI chip stocks largely offset renewed US‑Iran tensions. Samsung and TSMC shares climbed, lifting tech sentiment, and an ETF tracking semiconductor companies rallied 4.3%. Nikkei reported TSMC plans to raise some foundry service prices by up to 10% from 2027 to offset higher raw material, equipment and overseas build costs.
