Speaking at the 2026 China Auto Forum, Changan Automobile executive vice
president and Avita Technology chairman Wang Hui said the auto industry is
undergoing a four-way reshaping of market structure, technology routes,
supply‑chain value and competition models. He said the sector is shifting from
an electrification 'first half' to an intelligence 'second half'—an AI‑defined
car phase—and called 2026 a key year for intelligent driving to move from
concept to scaled mass production. Wang said AI and autonomous‑driving
capabilities will become core competitive factors and disclosed Avita’s
intelligent‑driving mass‑production rollout plan.
