The State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC)
convened a seminar for central SOE chiefs and urged firms to implement their
15th Five-Year Plans. SASAC will expand central SOEs' digital-intelligence
transformation and deepen an "AI+" special action to create more strategic
high-value scenarios and high-quality datasets, and to integrate AI and digital
technologies into production and operations. It will also coordinate green
retrofits in steel, nonferrous, building materials, petrochemicals and
chemicals, and advance classified, phased cultivation and longer-term measures
to consolidate renewal and launch initiatives and accelerate the development of
new pillar industries.
