China’s renewable-energy development 15th Five-Year Plan targets by 2030 roughly 3.5 billion kW of renewable installed capacity and about 6 trillion kWh of annual generation; wind and solar combined capacity is to exceed 2.8 billion kW and account for more than 50% of total capacity.
