Zhaoqing Xpeng New Energy Investment Co filed a recall plan with the State
Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR) under recall ID S2026M0082V.
Effective Aug 28, 2026, the recall covers 33,473 Xpeng X9 vehicles produced
between Aug 8, 2023 and Aug 11, 2025. A manufacturing process fluctuation
reduced the airtightness of the front air springs; prolonged use in
high-temperature, high-humidity conditions can cause slow air leaks that trigger
a fault lamp and text warning. In extreme cases the leak may impair vehicle
handling, creating a safety hazard.
