Spring Airlines said it learned via consumer association channels of a July 24 Beijing–Tianjin–Hebei joint consumer association meeting on ticket overselling that involved multiple carriers and sales platforms. The carrier watched the meeting livestream, promptly dispatched staff to report in person, and carried out a comprehensive self-review. It said it accepts the criticisms, will implement full corrective measures to prevent recurrence, and apologised to affected passengers and the consumer associations.
