Twenty-five U.S. tech giants signed an open letter backing open‑weight AI models. NVIDIA (NVDA.O) CEO Jensen Huang said AI will transform every industry, empower every company and be developed by each country. He said open‑source models improve safety and cybersecurity, accelerate innovation and diffusion, and enable sovereignty, but the world also needs cutting‑edge closed‑source models.

China's National Energy Administration issued 373 million renewable energy green certificates in June, covering 1.2475 million projects. Of these, 206 million (55.41%) are tradable, roughly unchanged MoM. The issuance primarily reflects May 2026 renewable generation (270 million certificates, 72.38%). Certificates for conventional hydropower, biomass and other renewables rose MoM, with conventional hydropower recording the largest increase.
