Shanghai Clearing House and the Shanghai Asset Management Association held an industry exchange to promote greater asset-manager participation in central counterparty clearing for the interbank bond and derivatives markets. The meeting sought to strengthen cooperation between financial infrastructure and the industry, leverage CCP clearing to support asset managers’ bond allocation and derivatives-based risk management, and build a deeper, broader, more liquid and resilient interbank bond and derivatives market to support Shanghai’s role as a financial opening hub.
