China expands its Guangdong cars southbound scheme: from 00:00 on July 25
drivers from Shenzhen, Foshan, Dongguan, Huizhou and Zhaoqing with approved
reservations may drive into Hong Kong via the Hong Kong–Zhuhai–Macau Bridge
Zhuhai road checkpoint. Daily reservation slots for vehicles entering Hong Kong
city will be increased to 200 from 100. The move, aimed at improving Greater Bay
Area connectivity, follows last year’s opening for Guangzhou, Zhuhai, Jiangmen
and Zhongshan.
