Typhoon Hongxia (No.12) has made landfall and its impact is waning; Shanwei’s flood, drought and wind prevention command downgraded the wind emergency response from Level I to Level II at 09:00 on July 26. From 09:00 on July 26 the city will lift the citywide "five suspensions"—suspension of classes, work, production, transport and business—in phases to permit an orderly resumption of production, transport and daily activity.

Typhoon "Hongxia" (strong typhoon) will bring severe wind and rain to Shenzhen; eastern Shenzhen will enter a 12-level wind circle. At 00:30 on July 26 the Shenzhen Meteorological Observatory upgraded typhoon warnings: Yantian, Pingshan, Dapeng New District, Dapeng Bay, Daya Bay and parts of Longgang (Pingdi, Longcheng, Longgang, Baolong, Yuanshan subdistricts) were raised from orange to red. Luohu, Nanshan, Futian, Bao'an, Guangming, Longhua, the Pearl River estuary, Shenzhen Bay and other parts of Longgang (Pinghu, Nanwan, Bantian, Henggang, Jihua subdistricts) were raised from yellow to orange.
