Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu said any attack by Iran, in any form, would be met with a forceful response.

An official at Israel’s Prime Minister’s Office said any international forces entering Gaza must obtain separate approval from each of the prime minister, the defense minister and the foreign minister.

Iran armed forces spokesman Shekarchi said on the 26th the US faces a chaotic, unfavorable situation and has failed to achieve its objectives in the Strait of Hormuz and in efforts to weaken Iran. He said the US is seeking a new strategy and may withdraw from the conflict, a decision he tied to Israel's agreement. With Prime Minister Netanyahu visiting the US, Iran could face airstrikes or ground operations; Shekarchi added a ground option would leave the US more vulnerable. Iran says it is prepared for all contingencies.
