A Yemeni navy official said on the 26th a navy patrol boat was attacked and destroyed in the Red Sea near Zugayr Island, leaving three crew members missing. The anonymous official blamed Houthi militants firing from several small boats but provided no evidence; the Houthis had not commented. Yemen’s government earlier said it had foiled attempts by multiple armed Houthi vessels to approach Zugayr Island, about 52 nautical miles (96 km) from the Red Sea port city of Hodeidah.

U.S. forces have expended roughly one-third of pre-conflict stocks of key precision-guided munitions, per ABC News and the Center for Strategic and International Studies. Interceptors were most affected: THAAD spent about 80% of a 360-round stock (≈190–290 rounds); SM-3 used more than half of a 410-round stock (≈130–250 rounds); Patriot interceptors saw ~61% consumption (≈1,060–1,430 of 2,330 rounds). Long-range strike inventories also drew down: more than 1,000 Tomahawk cruise missiles and over 1,100 JASSM long-range air-launched cruise missiles were fired.
