BlueBay chief investment officer Mark Dowding said investors have reason to expect Fed chair KEVIN WARSH to favor hawkish rhetoric to shore up his anti-inflation credentials, though he is unlikely to take policy action immediately. He warned this could further flatten the US yield curve in the near term, but said deteriorating US fiscal fundamentals and rising US spending on the Middle East conflict under Trump could eventually re-steepen the curve.
