The regulator stressed resolving downside risks as a priority, reiterating resolve to prevent systemic financial risk and to pursue problem-oriented, strict supervision while maintaining its supervisory mandate. NAFR said it will push firms to accelerate reform and transformation, promote differentiated positioning across institutions, and deploy multiple measures to improve industry ecology and enhance finance–economy alignment. Concord Resources research director Duncan Hobbs said the aluminium market is far larger than 25 years ago, leaving current LME inventories extremely low relative to market size.
