China's industrial enterprises above designated size reported H1 operating revenue up 6.5% YoY, accelerating 1.5 ppt from Q1 amid stable industrial output and rising industrial-goods prices. H1 profits rose 18.7% YoY, a 3.2 ppt acceleration versus Q1. By sector, mining profits climbed 33.5% YoY (up 17.3 ppt vs Q1), manufacturing profits rose 20.1% (up 1.0 ppt), while utilities (power, heat, gas and water production and supply) saw profits fall 4.2%. June profits for these firms were up 15.1% YoY.
