KB Real Estate's July housing survey: Seoul apartment average jeonse (lump-sum deposit rental) reached 704.58 mln won as of July 13, up 1.2% month-on-month and the highest since the series began in June 2011, driven by a shortage of listings. Seoul's jeonse outlook index is 136.1 (above 130 since April), indicating market consensus that jeonse will rise over the next three months. The Bank of Korea's housing price outlook index climbed to 127, the highest since September 2021, a reading above 100 signalling more consumers expect prices to be higher in a year.

The HKMA on July 28 published unaudited Exchange Fund accounts as of June 30, 2026. The Exchange Fund recorded HK$134.7bn of investment income in 1H 2026, comprised of bond investment income HK$49.1bn; Hong Kong equity investment loss HK$11.8bn; other equity investment income HK$53.7bn; foreign-currency revaluation gains on non-HKD assets HK$34.3bn; and other investment income HK$9.4bn.
