CENTCOM said it has agreed with the UAE to form the first bilateral special task force to accelerate military artificial intelligence applications. Named Task Force Talon Synapse, it is expected to stand up in the coming weeks and will include about 20 US and UAE personnel with AI, data and cybersecurity expertise. The unit will prioritize integrating AI to support intelligence, protect critical infrastructure and monitor the regional security environment.
