U.S. President Trump met visiting Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu at the White
House for about one hour. The White House called the meeting "positive and
constructive." An Israeli prime minister’s office official said the atmosphere
was good and the leaders discussed multiple regional issues, with Iran’s nuclear
program the core focus. Both sides reaffirmed a shared commitment to "prevent
Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons" and discussed strengthening the U.S.-Israel
alliance and expanding regional cooperation opportunities.
