SAMR’s Price Supervision and Anti-Unfair Competition Bureau will hold a
photovoltaic-sector price-compliance guidance event on July 31, with invitees
including the China Photovoltaic Industry Association (CPIA) and related PV
companies. A top executive at a PV module maker confirmed the event will take
place in Yancheng, Jiangsu. The stated aim is to guide the sector to strengthen
cost accounting and implement the Photovoltaic Industry Cost Accounting Model
General Rules. An industry source said preparations are ongoing and attendee
lists are being compiled.
