Broad-based ETFs extended heavy trading, with aggregate turnover rising to CNY109.7bn and 23 ETFs trading above CNY1.0bn each. Huaxia’s STAR 50 ETF and E Fund’s ChiNext ETF were most active, each trading over CNY12.4bn. Several CSI 1000 ETFs warmed up: Southern’s CSI 1000 ETF traded more than CNY8.0bn, up 52% vs the prior session, while comparable products from Huaxia, GF and E Fund saw turnover rise over 50% vs the previous trading day.
