Market sources say Nissan Motor Co.'s Kyushu plant will partially halt production this week.

SoftBank Group will issue JPY90 billion (about $550 million) of bonds to institutional investors to broaden domestic and offshore funding for AI investments, lead-managed by Daiwa Securities. The deal comprises JPY80 billion of three‑year notes with a 3.270% coupon (165bp over JGBs) and JPY10 billion of five‑year notes with a 3.886% coupon (190bp over JGBs), the highest coupon paid by a Japanese corporate borrower for comparable maturities.

As of 23:00 Beijing close, China’s main commodity futures were mixed: ethylene glycol (EG) up nearly 5%; low-sulfur fuel oil (LU) and fuel oil up over 3%; bottle-grade PET chip up over 2%; styrene (EB), benzene and polyester short fiber up around 2%; LPG up over 1%. On the downside, soda ash fell over 2%; glass, rebar and rapeseed meal fell over 1%; cotton, caustic soda and hot-rolled coil fell about 1%.
