On the evening of the 29th, Iraqi armed forces spokesman Sabah Nouman said
U.S.-Saudi strikes on Iraqi militias have impeded investigation into earlier
attacks inside Saudi Arabia. Nouman said Baghdad requested evidence linking the
Saudi strikes to armed groups based in Iraq but that no party has provided any.
Iraqi security services are drafting measures to prevent attacks on Iraqi
territory and to safeguard sovereignty. The government said it rejects foreign
incursions and will not allow weapons to operate outside state control.
