South Korea's KOSPI index quickly turned negative in early trade and is now down more than 1.2%.

Chinese regulators will prohibit installation of external blue indicator lights used to show driver-assist (ADAS) status on passenger cars, citing non-compliance with GB4785, the national standard for vehicle exterior lighting and optical signaling device installation. Geely said it has noted the development, will comply with national rules and await further guidance. Industry sources say the ban will apply to newly certified models from July 27, 2026.
